About the Guru Monk:
LP Chang Kantasalo (Chang: elephant) is a well-known guru monk in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. He is one of famous guru monks in Thailand and an abbot of Wat Nong Yai Mow in Nakhon Ratchasima. He was born in 2475 B.E. (1932 C.E.) in Nakhon Ratchasima. His parents were farmers but his father had magical knowledge. His father was good at magic. He used mantra to help people in the village who suffered from black magic or were obsessed by ghosts. His father’s magical ability was accepted. So, LP Chang day after day gradually absorbed his father’s magical knowledge by seeing closely when his father was performing a ceremony. Until LP Chang was 10, his father taught him magic. When LP Chang was 20, he got ordained as a Buddhist monk. He continued learning magic by self-study and studying with a master. After that, LP Chang set off a monk’s pilgrimage called “Tudong” to meet magical adepts and learn magic from them. At last, LP Chang became a magical expert.
