LP Koon Pidta YantYoong Wat Banrai, B.E.2536



This is a beautiful, complete-condition LP Koon Pidta YantYoong, MahaLapho KoonLarp made and blessed by LP Koon, Wat Banrai, Nakonratchasima (Korat), in B.E.2536. The Pidta's content is bronze-based alloy of Navaloha. Please notice the dark brown surface which implies a large quantity of gold mixedly melted in its content. 

The word YantYoong = labyrinthine designs of Khom scripts on the Pidta's reverse side

MahaLapho KoonLarp = "Multiplied Great Fortune"; Koon (LP Koon's name) means multiply, multiplication.

Navaloha = holy bronze-based alloy of metal of nine kinds; Nava = nine, Loha = metal  


At the Pidta's bottom base was chopped with Khom script code "Na". 

The Pidta has comprehensive properties for wealth & fortune, Metta, KlaewKlaad, and KongKraphanChatri. 

Effect: Prosperity, Wealthy fetching, Protection from bad influence and evil, Metta Mahalap, Harmproof and bring good fortune especially business and authority, Improve your luck and fortune and there is great power about fulfill the worshiper’s wishes.


LP Koon has finished his holy Visha on Takrut-making for invincibiility. During the Vietnam War was still persisting in early 2510s, lots of American soldiers in Udon and Korat airbases went to pay respect to LP Koon requesting to have Takruts inserted into their bodies. After LP Koon chanted his Katha for a few minutes, one or more Takruts would be miraculously forced into a soldier's arm. 

A large pile of silver Takruts for invincibility, life protection, and wealth & fortune were inscribed by LP Koon himself and mixedly melted to make the Pidtas of this batch. 

LP Koon was born in B.E.2466 and ordained for monkhood in B.E.2487. He is now 87 years of age and still be the Abbot of Wat Banrai.
